The final composition of my desired workspace.
Project Statement
This project consisted of using linear perspective techniques to create simple and complex forms in order to construct my desired workspace. In my composition, I focused on using different drawing techniques like 1-point perspective in order to draw 2-D shapes that accurately conveyed 3-D objects/forms. In my workspace, I included a fireplace, couch, window seat, desk, and tv, among other items.

Reflection
This project taught me a lot about drawing techniques and linear perspective. Going into this project I knew virtually nothing about drawing, especially about drawing 3-D objects. I learned that when it comes to drawing 3-D forms, you must be very precise in your linework, otherwise the objects will not translate correctly. I found that if I was just a few millimeters off, then the perspective of my form would be off. This is something that I struggled with and frustrated me throughout the entire project. However, this frustration was a good thing as it taught me that it is okay to struggle, especially with new concepts, and that not everything I do/create will be perfect, no matter how much I want it to be. Although I see plenty of areas for improvement, I am very pleased with the outcome of my composition. I see strong areas within my composition and areas that I could improve upon, like the desk and chair. I still have a lot to learn about drawing; however, this project gave me a very good foundation to build upon.
